This module covers the fundamentals of international economic relations theory: This includes basic knowledge of real foreign trade theory, of the (instruments of) foreign trade policy and the institutional foundations of the world trade order.


Qualification Goals

The aim of the module is to introduce students to the theoretical and economic policy foundations of international economic relations, Students should acquire the competence to analyze and critically discuss international economic problem areas in a theoretically sound manner.
