The module provides an in-depth introduction to key fundamentals of macroeconomics. Important topics include open economy, aggregate supply, stabilization policy, central macroeconomic problem areas, and microfoundations of macroeconomic relationships.


Qualification Goals

The aim of the module is to introduce students in depth to the theoretical and economic policy foundations of macroeconomics. Students should acquire the competence to be able to critically discuss and analyze macroeconomic relationships.
