B.Sc. Computer Science — Minor subject Biology

Before taking up the minor, interested students should contact the contact person of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science for the minor in Biology (Prof. Dr. Dominik Heider, Bioinformatics). In addition, registration in the Office of the Dean of Studies of the Department of Biology (room 1089) is required before starting the minor. Since the choices may be limited by admission restrictions, it is recommended to attend the information event on module selection and, if necessary, to use the advisory services of the Department of Biology (contact person: Dr. Maier).

In the minor subject Biology two modules with a total of 12 LP have to be completed. It is recommended to take at least one of the two basic modules Genetics and Microbiology or Cell and Developmental Biology within this framework.
