Contents

The module deals with scientific theoretical and economic basics of business administration as well as basic concepts and theories of value-oriented corporate management. The module also includes an overview of the functional areas of business administration and the basics/tasks of corporate management, instruments of corporate management, esp. corporate governance systems, strategies and planning as well as organization.


Qualification Goals

Upon completion of the module, students will be able to,

(1) name and illustrate in a scientifically sound manner the common theoretical and institutional foundations and tools of business administration as well as the task fields and instruments of value-oriented corporate management,

(2) outline the links to the course content of other modules in both business administration and economics, and

(3) illustrate and analyze complex business management relationships.

When studying M.Sc. Computer Science, this module must be completed in the study area Minor subject Business Administration.
