Contents
In this module, the competences acquired in Practical Computer Science I and II are to be deepened and practiced on the basis of larger tasks. In particular, the following aspects should be addressed in the tasks being solved in small groups on site:
- Requirement specification
- Object-oriented development methods
- Design patterns in object-oriented programming
- Use of efficient data structures
- Generic programming with Lambdas.
- Components and modularization
- Quality assurance (e.g. module and integration tests)
Qualification Goals
Students should
- deepen knowledge in the field of programming and apply it to larger problems,
- learn how to use software development environments and reuse software libraries to create larger programs,
- to be able to select, test, evaluate and apply suitable methods from computer science to given problems.
- to process and document achieved results in writing in a suitable manner,
- gain experience in teamwork and work organization while working on tasks.
