Contents
In this module, the competences acquired in Practical Computer Science I and II are to be deepened and practiced on the basis of larger tasks. In particular, the following aspects should be addressed in the tasks being solved in small groups on site:
- Requirement specification
- Object-oriented development methods
- Design patterns in object-oriented programming
- Use of efficient data structures
- Generic programming with Lambdas.
- Components and modularization
- Quality assurance (e.g. module and integration tests)
Qualification Goals
- Deepening programming knowledge and applying it to larger problems,
- learning how to work with software development environments and how to reuse software libraries to create larger programs,
- being able to select, test, evaluate and apply suitable computer science methods for given problems,
- learning to process and document the results achieved in a suitable way in writing,
- gaining experience in teamwork and work organisation during the development of tasks.
Prerequisites
None. The competences taught in the following modules are recommended: Object-oriented Programming, Declarative Programming, Algorithms and Data Structures.
