- Textures
- Light and materials
- Shadows and reflections
Qualification Goals
In this course, students will learn how to create interactive computer graphics applications. These include general concepts of computer graphics that are independent of the programming environment used, such as the mathematical description of 2D and 3D objects, lights and cameras, the representation of the 3D scene in a hierarchical scene graph, or the mathematical description of materials and their reflectance properties. Through programming examples in a practical programming environment, students will learn all the necessary techniques to be able to independently realize concrete computer graphics projects in the future. In addition, the fundamentals for the creation of graphical user interfaces will also be taught. In addition, the general ability to work scientifically and solve problems as well as the communication skills of the participants will be improved.
