- Problem analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance and documentation of a larger software system on the basis of modern concepts and tools of software engineering.
- Planning and implementation of software projects
- Iterative software development, in which each iteration concludes with a milestone acceptance
Qualification Goals
Students
- can systematically develop a larger software system along a defined software development process,
- can design a larger software system,
- have in-depth knowledge of modeling and programming,
- can create high quality software
- can work in a structured way in a team over a longer period of time,
- can perform guided project management tasks according to principles of software engineering,

Prerequisites
None. The competences taught in the following modules are recommended: Object-oriented Programming, Algorithms and Data Structures, Software Engineering.
