According to the announcement, various topics will be dealt with in depth from a practice-oriented and/or current perspective, in particular from the following areas

  • enterprise resource planning
  • supply chain management
  • customer relationship management
  • product lifecycle management incl. product data management
  • enterprise information systems
  • E-business and e-commerce systems
  • management information systems

Qualification Goals

The students

  • Have advanced knowledge and skills in the area of core operational systems,
  • Are familiar with the theory of the area of core operational systems and know selected applications,
  • Are able to apply working methods from business information systems,
  • are familiar with current research results and the use of research literature,
  • are able to speak freely about scientific content, both in front of an audience and in a discussion.


Prerequisites

None. The competences taught in the following modules are recommended: Object-oriented Programming, Algorithms and Data Structures. In addition, the competences that are taught in the intermediate modules (depending on the topic) are recommended.
