Contents
Building on knowledge from one or more modules of the Master's program, an application-oriented topic is agreed upon between the student and the supervisor. A suitable selection of the scientific methods to be used in the work is made jointly.
Qualification Goals
The students, supervised by a thesis advisor, are able to work on a comprehensive topic from the field of Business Informatics and apply suitable scientific methods. They are able to communicate the results of thesis in written and oral form.
Prerequisites
At least 66 LP must have been acquired. In addition, the following modules are required: Independent Scientific Practice Business Informatics, either Selected Advanced Topics in Computer Science ("Seminar") or Selected Advanced Topics in Business Informatics ("Seminar") or Seminar Advanced Management Accounting or Seminar Digitization and Process Management or Seminar Empirical Finance or Seminar on Empirical Marketing or Seminar Entrepreneurship and Innovative Business Models or Seminar on Advanced Finance and Banking or Seminar on Marketing Theory or Seminar on Organization, Human Resource Management and Knowledge Management or Seminar on Financial Accounting and Corporate Valuation or Seminar on Strategic and International Management or Seminar on Strategic and International Management (Project) or Seminar on Technology and Innovation Management. At least 12 LP must have been completed in the Compulsory Elective Modules in B.A. and a seminar as well as Introduction to Scientific Working Business Informatics must have been completed at the same department as the master thesis.
