Contents

Scientific-theoretical and economic foundations of business administration;

Basic concepts and theories of value-based management;

Overview of the functional areas of business administration and basic principles/tasks of corporate management;

Instruments of corporate management, esp. corporate governance systems, strategies and planning, and organization.


Qualification Goals

After completing the module, students will be able to

  • reproduce the common theoretical and institutional foundations and tools of business administration and name and explain the central tasks and instruments of value-oriented corporate management,
  • recognize the links to the content of other modules in both business administration and economics,
  • reproduce and use the most important instruments of corporate management and
  • apply them with the abstraction skills required to solve complex business management problems.
