The module provides an in-depth introduction to key fundamentals of macroeconomics. Important topics include open economy, aggregate supply, stabilization policy, central macroeconomic problem areas, and microfoundations of macroeconomic relationships.

  • zentrale makroökonomische Wirtschaftspolitiken zu benennen und ihre theoretische Wirkungsweise zu erläutern,
  • die zugrundeliegenden makroökonomischen Modelle kritisch zu diskutieren,
  • Bezüge der wirtschaftspolitischen Ansätze zu realen Entwicklungen herzustellen.
