Die teilnehmenden Studierenden machen sich im Seminar mit aktuellen wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen zur Finanzkompetenz privater Haushalte vertraut und fertigen Hausarbeiten an, in denen sie ausgewählten Fragestellungen auf dem Gebiet der Finanzbildung und -kompetenz gedanklich durchdringen und kritisch beurteilen. Die Fortschritte bzw. Kernbefunde der schriftlichen Arbeiten werden im Rahmen eines Zwischen-bzw. Abschlusskolloquiums präsentiert.

Studierende sind nach Abschluss des Moduls in der Lage,

  • Informationen zu Finanzentscheidungen auf Haushaltsebene und finanziellen Risiken aufzubauen, zu strukturieren und auf eine konkrete Fragestellung anzuwenden,
  • Inhalte und Thesen zu präsentieren und diskursiv zu vertreten,
  • eine eigenständige wissenschaftliche Arbeit anzufertigen und die so erworbenen Kompetenzen bei der Anfertigung der Abschlussarbeit anzuwenden.
