In the seminar, the participating students familiarize themselves with current scientific findings on the financial literacy of private households and prepare term papers in which they examine and critically assess selected issues in the field of financial education and literacy. The progress and core findings of the written assignments are presented in an interim or final colloquium.


Qualification Goals

After completing the module, students will be able to

  • compile and structure information on financial decisions at household level and financial risks and apply it to a specific issue,
  • present content and theses and defend them discursively,
  • prepare an independent academic paper and apply the skills acquired in this way to the preparation of the final thesis.
