Contents

Theoretical and normative issues of the economic analysis of legal rules and regulations; selected applications as, e.g., property rights, contract law, tort law, business law, consumer law, and other legal fields.


Qualification Goals

The students should acquire a thorough knowledge about the field of the economic analysis of legal rules and regulations. The students should acquire the competence to analyze critically legal institutions and assess alternative legal solutions from an economic perspective. Also a basic understanding of interdisciplinary research should be achieved.
