Contents
Supervised study of a problem from computer science with scientific methods. The work usually consists of literature work and independent work on the problem at hand. The Bachelor's thesis includes the appropriate presentation of the results in a written report.
Qualification Goals
The students are able to work on a task preferably from the field of business informatics with scientific methods under guidance and to present the results appropriately in writing. In addition, it is also possible to write a bachelor thesis in the fields of computer science or business administration.
Prerequisites
At least 132 LP must have been acquired. In addition, the following modules are required: Algorithms and Data Structures, Database Systems, Object-oriented Programming, Software Engineering, System Software and Computer Communication, Selected Topics in Business Informatics (Seminar) as well as 4 of the modules Marketing or Fundamentals of Accounting or Decision Theory and Finance or Information Management or Financial Accounting or Cost-Benefit Accounting or Introduction to Management, Basic Linear Algebra, Basic Real Analysis, Linear Optimization.
