Betreute Bearbeitung einer Problemstellung aus der Informatik mit wissenschaftlichen Methoden. Die Bearbeitung setzt sich in der Regel aus Literaturarbeit und eigenständiger Arbeit am gestellten Problem zusammen. Im Fall von Gruppenarbeit muss der als Prüfungsleistung zu bewertende Beitrag der einzelnen Kandidatin bzw. des einzelnen Kandidaten deutlich abgegrenzt unterscheidbar und bewertbar sein. Zur Bachelorarbeit gehören die angemessene Darstellung und Einordnung der Vorgehensweise und der Ergebnisse in einer schriftlichen Arbeit.
Qualification Goals
The students are able to work on a task preferably from the field of business informatics with scientific methods under guidance and to present the results appropriately in writing. In addition, it is also possible to write a bachelor thesis in the fields of computer science or business administration.
Prerequisites
At least 114 LP must have been acquired. In addition, the following modules are required: Algorithms and Data Structures, Selected Topics in Business Informatics ("Seminar"), Database Systems, Object-oriented Programming, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Decision Theory and Finance, Basic Linear Algebra, Basic Real Analysis, Operations Research. A minimum of 18 LP in the Business and Economics Focus Area is also required.
