Contents
Supervised study of a problem from computer science with scientific methods. The work usually consists of literature work and independent work on the problem at hand. The Bachelor's thesis includes the appropriate presentation of the results in a written report.
Qualification Goals
The students are able to work on a task preferably from the field of business informatics with scientific methods under guidance and to present the results appropriately in writing. In addition, it is also possible to write a bachelor thesis in the fields of computer science or business administration.
Prerequisites
At least 114 LP must have been acquired. In addition, the following modules are required: Algorithms and Data Structures, Selected Topics in Business Informatics ("Seminar"), Database Systems, Object-oriented Programming, Software Engineering, Information Management, Decision Theory and Finance, Basic Linear Algebra, Basic Real Analysis, Operations Research. A minimum of 18 LP in the Business and Economics Focus Area is also required.
