Contents

The module deals with fundamental concepts of business information systems that will be revisited throughout the rest of the course. The module addresses the role of information and communication systems in companies, the design of operational systems, the fundamentals of operational application systems, and system development.


Qualification Goals

Upon completion of the module, students will be able to,

(1) name different functional areas of business information systems and explain their interaction; and

(2) apply systems and manage their development.

None.
