Contents

This module teaches basic concepts of game theory. Building on the knowledge gained in Microeconomics 1, models of interactive decision situations are introduced. Students will gain an initial overview of the limitations of rational decision models.


Qualification Goals

Upon completion of the module, students will be able to.

(1) formally describe interactive decision situations,

(2) name appropriate theoretical models and solution concepts,

(3) solve simple structured decision problems, and

(4) formulate assumptions about rational behavior of economic agents.
