Qualification Goals

Climatic geography focuses on the spatial impact of weather, weathering, and climate as well as the interaction with abiotic, biotic, and anthropogenic components. It analyzes, explains, and predicts the spatial differentiation and spatiotemporal change of climate, taking into account different scales (micro, meso, macro) and their transitions. Students receive an overview of the scientific state of knowledge in climatic geography and become familiar with basic relationships, specific methods and important technical terms.
