The module deals with important concepts and tools of strategic management at the business unit level in an international context. The module addresses instruments of strategic analysis, formulating competitive strategies and ensuring the sustainability of these strategies.


Qualification Goals

Upon completion of the module, students will be able to,

(1) name different concepts and instruments of external and internal strategy analysis, strategy formulation and ensuring their sustainability in an international context and explain how they work,

(2) apply these concepts to solve simple strategic problems in case studies and

(3) analyze the strategic situation of exemplary companies and develop proposals for solutions.
