The module deals with important concepts and tools of strategic management at the business unit level in an international context. The module addresses instruments of strategic analysis, formulating competitive strategies and ensuring the sustainability of these strategies.

Studierende sind nach Abschluss des Moduls in der Lage,
- unterschiedliche Konzepte und Instrumente der externen und internen Strategieanalyse, der Strategiegestaltung und der Sicherung ihrer Nachhaltigkeit im internationalen Kontext zu benennen und ihre Funktionsweise zu erläutern,
- diese Konzepte zur Lösung einfacher strategischer Problemstellungen in Fallbeispielen anzuwenden sowie
- die strategische Situation beispielhafter Unternehmen zu analysieren und Lösungsvorschläge zu entwickeln.
