M.Sc. Data Science — Application Area Modules
This area of study is optional. If a focus area is chosen, modules from one of the areas must be chosen in the amount of 18 CP to 24 CP. Currently, the four focus areas offered are Medical Informatics ("MI"), Social Sciences ("SW"), Geoinformatics ("GI"), and Languages ("S"). If the Medical Informatics emphasis is chosen, no more than two of the three modules Data Science in Biomedicine, Statistical Bioinformatics, and Algorithms in Bioinformatics may be included.
The credit points of the study areas Application Area Modules, Free Compulsory Elective Modules, and Practical Modules must total 72 CP.
