M.Sc. Computer Science — Minor subject Biology

Before taking up the minor, students must register in the Dean of Studies Office of the Department of Biology (Room 1089). Since the choices may be limited due to admission restrictions, it is recommended to attend the Biology Department's information event on module selection and, if necessary, to use the counseling services offered there if you have any questions (contact person: Dr. Maier).

If the minor subject Biology has not yet been taken in the Bachelor's program, 15 LP (2*7.5 LP) have to be acquired due to deviating module sizes, of which only 12 LP (2*6 LP) can be credited. The core module "Genetics and Microbiology" as well as another core module (indicator "KM") must be selected. If the minor subject Biology has already been studied in the Bachelor's degree, one of the subject modules marked with "FM" must be completed to the extent of 12 LP. It should be noted that biological subject modules require knowledge from certain core modules and these dependencies must be taken into account when selecting the modules.

List of modules in this area of study:

Sorted: alphabetical, by classification, by level and CP

Advanced module, 12 CP
